Highgate was founded by Stuart Marginson in 2010 with a vision to prioritise people, aiming to create a workplace that allowed employees to grow both professionally and in their overall well-being, mental health, and quality of life.
From day one, Highgate embraced a fully remote working model with a "work from anywhere" philosophy. Trust, honesty, integrity, and an open-minded, family-like culture were the foundation of how we worked.
In July 2021, Bob came on board as our Sales Director. His expertise and insights have been instrumental in driving Highgate’s growth and continued success.
Jenny joined us in September 2021, heading our operations team, while overseeing partner alliances and our marketing efforts. Excitingly, Jenny was promoted to Operations Director in 2024.
We were excited to see our sales surpass the £10M mark!

We led the way in the IT channel by piloting a 4-day work week. After a successful trial (with a 20% increase in YOY revenue!), we made the 4-day work week a permanent part of Highgate's culture.
Time is precious, so in March 2022, we reduced the working day to just 7 hours without affecting salaries. This gives our team an extra 10 hours a month to spend on what matters most—family, hobbies, and personal interests.
Every Highgate employee enjoys fully covered Private Medical Insurance, which includes mental health support, unlimited talking therapies, access to a mindfulness app, and an online support community.

With over 25 years of experience in the tech world, Paolo joined our team in March 2023 as Head of Services, who has since been promoted to Services Director in 2024.

I’m Stuart Marginson, Managing Director of Highgate. When I founded the company, my goal was to create a business that puts people first. My vision was to build a working environment where employees could thrive professionally while improving their quality of life, wellbeing, and mental health. Remote working made this vision a reality, allowing us to create a family-like business rooted in trust, honesty, integrity, and open-mindedness as our core principles. As the company continues to grow stronger, my focus remains on leadership and direction, ensuring that Highgate becomes the best version of itself. This means continuously improving so that employees feel they are part of something bigger, strengthening relationships with our partner network, and ensuring our customer experience is nothing short of excellent.
Outside the office you’ll usually find me on the mountain with a bike or snowboard.
I’m Bob Sahota, Sales Director at Highgate, a role I’ve been proud to hold since joining the company in July 2021. With over 20 years of experience working with some of the top VARs, I’ve had the opportunity to guide Highgate through its ongoing growth and success. My approach with the sales team focuses on helping them realise their full potential by providing guidance and supporting their personal development. At Highgate, we encourage the team to nurture strong relationships through engagement at every level and adopt a problem-solving, trusted advisor mindset when working with customers.
When I'm not working you will normally find me supporting my overall wellbeing and mental health, whether that be in the gym, reading a book, playing 8-ball with friends, on a long walk, volunteering with local charities, or practising my spiritual program.
I’m Jenny Latimer, Operations Director at Highgate. I stepped into this position in September 2024 after several years leading our operations team, partner alliances, and marketing initiatives. At Highgate, a key focus of mine is ensuring we are a great place to work by fostering an open, supportive, and safe environment where our operations and finance teams can thrive, develop their careers, and achieve their professional goals.
I’ve been honoured as a finalist in several industry awards, as well as recognised for Sustainability achievements. Plus, in October 2024, I was proud to be named one of IT Channel Oxygen’s 25 Influencers of the IT industry.
Sustainability is a huge passion of mine, and I’m proud to help shape Highgate’s sustainability strategy as an Ambassador for Techies Go Green. I also love giving back to the industry as a channel buddy for The Channel Community, a mentoring initiative for those just starting out in the IT Channel.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me at the yard with my horse or on a beach with my family.
I’m Paolo Rodia, currently serving as the Services Director at Highgate, a role I took on in September 2024 after joining the company as Head of Services in March 2023. I’ve spent over 25 years in the technology sector, starting as a Novell and Microsoft technical engineer and later working with a newly established MSP. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to take on leadership roles in Managed and Consultancy Services, Partner Management, and Corporate Business Development. My experience in Engineering, Service Delivery, and Business Development has helped me work with talented teams to tackle customer challenges and deliver effective solutions.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and walking my Hungarian Vizsla. When I’m not doing that, you’ll likely find me in my garage, tinkering with my classic car and scooters.
