We're not just another IT reseller. We're a people-first business, proud to be Great Place to Work Certified and recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces in Tech. Because we believe the way we treat our people is directly reflected in the service our customers receive.
We work with UK organisations typically employing between 100 and 2,000 people, across sectors including professional services, financial services, education, healthcare, and the public sector. Highgate IT Solutions was founded by Stuart Marginson in 2010 with a clear ambition: to build an IT services business where people genuinely come first. That founding philosophy – prioritising employee wellbeing, professional growth, and quality of life – has shaped every decision the company has made since.

From its first day of trading, Highgate operated as a fully remote business. Built on principles of trust, honesty, and integrity, the remote-first model gave the company the flexibility to hire the best people regardless of location, and remains central to how Highgate operates today.

In March 2022, Highgate reduced the standard working day to seven hours with no change to salaries, returning an additional ten hours per month to every member of the team.
All Highgate employees received fully funded private medical insurance, including mental health support, unlimited talking therapies, access to a mindfulness app, and an online support community.
Every Highgate employee receives their birthday as an additional day of leave.

More importantly, we’re entirely vendor-agnostic. That means every recommendation we make is driven by what’s right for your business, not by vendor incentives or margin targets. You get the best solution for your needs, from a partner you can trust.
Every customer is paired with a dedicated account director who becomes an extension of your team. They take the time to understand your business, your pain points, and your goals – and they act as your trusted advisor for the long term. Because we’re built for agility rather than bureaucracy, we respond quickly, adapt to your needs, and deliver results without unnecessary delays.
