Invicro X CNNECT Case Study

Invicro are a part of the REALM IDx Group, an organisation aiming to accelerate personalised medicine and develop innovative therapeutic technologies.

They are a global research partner to pharmaceutical, biotech, and contract research organisations.

A global company, they have employees stretched across continents, many of these concentrated in North America and Europe.

The Challenge

The geographical split of the IT users across the USA and UK meant that Invicro’s data was split between the two regions. As a result, their teams in each region were accessing a separate Microsoft 365 tenant. This was making it challenging for their users to collaborate with the same set of data across two entities, user experience was poor and often it felt like they were operating as entirely different organisations.

With the release of a multi-geo licence for Microsoft 365, Invicro were able to take advantage of the fact that they could now consolidate tenants with the data still resident in a single region. Without the necessary skill internally, they were searching for an organisation to help assist them with the services required for a seamless tenant migration using Quest OnDemand. The Quest team contacted Highgate to see if they could support Invicro in completing this work.

The Solution

Over a single weekend, working alongside the team at CNNECT, Highgate provided a professional services team to implement the multi-geo licence and utilise Quest OnDemand to consolidate Invicro’s US  and UK Microsoft 365 tenants. One of the key considerations from the Invicro team was the time and effort to implement the new solution, and so the use of technologies like Quest OnDemand helped to automate many of the processes required to complete the project.

The Outcome

Highgate and CNNECT engaged the Invicro team in both the USA and UK to plan a seamless integration of the tenants. Using their experienced consultants, they worked to create a new single entity and improved user experience for the Invicro users across all geographies. As a part of the migration, the team also helped to consolidate the Invicro branding under a new Invicro.com domain.

“Our user experience across the organisation has improved dramatically since we engaged with the Highgate and CNNECT teams. They were great to deal with and delivered against all expectations set out
at the start of the project. We’re looking forward to seeing how they can help us continue to provide great outcomes for Invicro.”
