Last Thursday (10th November), Highgate were named Reseller of the Year (sub £100m revenue) at the CRN Channel Awards 2022!
Regarded as one of the most prestigious nights in the IT Channel, over 1300 IT professionals braved the tube strikes and headed to Battersea Park for a fun filled night of celebrations.
Our journey to the Channel Awards began in April, when this year’s categories were announced and we started to prepare our entry. Criteria required us to highlight our achievements over the last 12 months, explain how we differentiated ourselves from other resellers in the channel and demonstrate our dedication and service to our clients and employees.
We had a fun day putting together a video entry, getting the whole company involved (with some Oscar worthy performances!) Once the edits had been made, we submitted the video in time of the 1st July deadline!
And then, we waited, whilst the judges marked the entries and determined the finalists. On 18th August, we received the brilliant news that we were a finalist in the Reseller of the Year category!
However, the journey did not stop there… The finalists in the ‘Big Five’ categories (Vendor of the Year, Reseller of the Year sub £100m, Reseller of the Year £100m+, Distributor of the Year sub £250m and Distributor of the Year £251m+), are required to attend an in-person judging day. This day gives senior representatives from each company the chance to conduct a 10 minute presentation to the judges, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.
After the judging day, we waited with anticipation (and our fingers crossed!) till Thursday 10th November, the day of the Channel Awards!
Donning our best dresses and black ties, we headed to the evening where we were treated to brilliant entertainment and exciting announcements. On hearing we had won ‘Reseller of the Year (sub £100m)’, all Highgate attendees took to the stage to celebrate our win and collect our trophy together.
