Accounts Clerk

Overview

The Accounts Clerk will play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations. This position requires a self-motivated, proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of their work and showing a willing-ness to learn and grow within the role.

Job responsibilities

– Invoice Processing: Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly in the system
– Supplier queries: Handle queries related to supplier invoices promptly and profes-sionally, ensuring timely resolution
– Statement Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies
– Nominal Ledger Maintenance: Assist with coding and posting nominal invoices, en-suring accurate general ledger entries.
– Inbox Management: Monitor and manage multiple finance inboxes, ensuring emails are actioned promptly
– Credit Notes: Process credit notes relating to customer service cases efficiently and keep records up to date.
– Remittance: Process payments
– Other Duties: Provide support with ad hoc finance tasks as required, including assist-ing with month-end processes.

Qualifications and experience

– Basic qualifications in finance or accounting are desirable but not essential.
– Prior experience in accounting or finance related role is beneficial.
