This August, we saw our biggest fundraising event of the year, when two of our brave team members, Fab and Andy, faced their fears and leapt from a plane at 15,000ft in a charity skydive!
Highgate covered the full cost of the jump, meaning every single penny donated went directly to our chosen charity, Mikeysline. Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters, Fab and Andy not only smashed their fundraising target but raised an amazing £3,480.
Fab said: 'I was a little nervous on the morning of the jump, but reading all the encouraging messages from our sponsors and remembering why we were doing this for Mikeysline gave me the courage I needed. It turned out to be the most exhilarating experience, one I will never forget'
Andy said: ‘What an amazing experience! Absolutely incredible!! So much so, as soon as I landed, I was itching to go right back up and go again! Thank you to Highgate’s management for the opportunity and to the staff and partners for their support and generosity!
“A brave thing to do” people have said, but not a patch on the bravery needed to pick up the phone and ask for help.
I’m extremely proud to be a member of the Highgate team, who not only contributed but generously matched what we had raised, doubling the donation to Mikeysline!
Mikeysline is an incredible charity who help those who struggle with mental health to get back on their feet and life to the max!
Here at Highgate, we are proud to be supporting Mikeysline, a vital mental health and suicide prevention charity. Founded in 2015 after the tragic loss of two young friends, Mikey Williamson and Martin Shaw, Mikeysline offers a lifeline to those struggling with their mental health.
By donating our fundraising efforts, we’re helping Mikeysline continue their essential work, providing a safe space and real support for those who need it most. If you would like to donate, click here > Highgate IT Solutions is fundraising for Mikeysline
