D-Link mobile hotspots, USB adapters and CCTV

D-Link’s 4G and 5G hotspots and USB adapters need no drivers or setup. Put a SIM in and your people are online, with the DWR-932W keeping up to 32 devices connected for up to 16 hours on a charge. D-Link’s IP cameras and network video recorders are back in stock too, so you can monitor your sites and record what happens there.

Why we work with D-Link

D-Link was founded in Taiwan in 1986 to make network adapters for PCs, and networking has been its business ever since. It went on to become the first networking company listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, and today its range runs from switches, wireless and routers to 4G and 5G devices, IP surveillance and cloud network management.

That breadth is why D-Link works well for the small and mid-sized organisations we support, typically those with 10 to 500 people, and especially schools, colleges and universities. Many of them now have people studying or working away from a fixed network, on site visits, at events, travelling or between campuses, and need a simple way to keep them online. D-Link’s mobile range does that without asking users to configure anything, and its surveillance range covers the sites they come back to.

FOCUS FOR 2026

Connectivity that goes where your people go

Work and study no longer happen in one building, and public Wi-Fi is not something you want people relying on. D-Link’s 2026 focus is making mobile connectivity as simple as plugging in a USB stick, while bringing its surveillance range back for the sites you manage. In practice, it changes three things.

Online the moment they plug in

Insert a SIM, plug in and connect. The USB adapters need no drivers or software, so users can get going without a call to IT.

One connection for the whole group

The hotspots turn a single mobile connection into Wi-Fi for up to 32 laptops, tablets and phones.

Keep an eye on every site

D-Link’s IP cameras and NVRs are available again through distribution, ready for new installations or a refresh of older equipment.

D-Link products

Each D-Link product suits a different way of working, from a single user on the move to a full team or a whole site. Start with what your people need most and add more as you grow.

Network video recorders

Four- and eight-channel recorders that manage your cameras and recording schedules from one interface. Motion-triggered recording saves storage, and if the network drops, footage is held locally and synced back once it returns.

Best for sites running up to eight cameras that want recording on hardware they own.
D-LINK THROUGH HIGHGATE

From first order to full rollout, handled

Buying the device is the easy part. What we add is making sure the right device reaches the right person, and that it keeps working as part of your wider IT.

The right device for each team

We match devices to how your people work and the coverage where they work, so nobody gets a 5G hotspot where a 4G adapter would do the job.

In their hands quickly

We source D-Link devices through our distribution partners, so stock reaches you quickly, whether that’s one adapter or a full rollout.

Looked after as you grow

Your Highgate account director stays in the loop, and because we also support your connectivity, licensing and devices, everything around D-Link keeps working as you grow.

Do the devices come with a data plan?

No. Each device takes a standard Nano SIM, so you can use data SIMs from your existing mobile provider or ask us to help you find the right plan.

Do we need 5G coverage to use the 5G devices?

No. The D501 and F530 also work on 4G, so they stay useful where 5G is patchy and step up to 5G speeds where it is available. If your people mostly work in 4G areas, we will tell you whether the 4G models are the better buy.
