NAS, all-flash storage and backup

QNAP makes network-attached storage for businesses of every size, from compact office units to fast all-flash systems. NAS, drives and upgrades together in one order, at a price agreed up front.

Storage that keeps up with your team  •  Fast files and backups on one platform

Why we work with QNAP

QNAP has been building network-attached storage since 2004, and now makes storage, networking and backup hardware for businesses of every size. Security is designed in from the start, from how its software is written to how its hardware is sourced and built, and it was named Best NAS Manufacturer at the PC Pro Awards 2025.

What sets it apart is choice. You can match storage speed to each job, so you only pay for the performance you need, and built-in data protection and room to expand mean a system can be upgraded rather than replaced.

QNAP AT A GLANCE

FOCUS FOR 2026

Storage fast enough for your busiest work

QNAP’s push for 2026 is all-flash, with a range built to handle both the storage your teams work from and the storage that keeps copies safe. These are the three areas where it makes the biggest difference.

Large files that open without the wait

Files, video and databases open quickly, even with the whole team working at once.

Everyday files and backups, one platform

Use QNAP for the files your teams work from and for your backups. Backup copies can be locked against changes, and a second system can take over if the first goes offline.

A system that grows with you

Add drives, memory or expansion units as your data grows, rather than replacing a system that still has years of life in it.

QNAP data storage

Each QNAP range suits a different job, from fast storage for live work to high-capacity systems for backup. Start with what your team needs most and add more as you grow.

QNAP all-flash NAS system

All-flash NAS

Desktop, rackmount and portable systems built on fast SSDs, such as the 12-bay TS-h1290FX, which supports over 700 TB of raw capacity.

Best for virtualisation, databases and large shared projects.
QNAP rackmount NAS with hard drive bays

High-capacity NAS

Hybrid and hard-drive NAS for file storage, backup and archive, with built-in snapshots and replication, such as the 22-bay TS-h2287XU-RP.

Best for secondary storage and day-to-day file sharing.
QNAP expansion unit and network card

Expansion and upgrades

JBOD expansion units, network cards, M.2 SSDs and memory that add capacity, speed or connections to an existing QNAP system, such as the TL-R2400PES-RP expansion unit.

Best for estates that need more space or performance from hardware they already own.
QNAP THROUGH HIGHGATE

From drives to upgrades, handled

A NAS is only as good as the drives and components inside it. We put the full system together so it arrives complete and is costed in one place.

Matched to your workload

We size capacity, drives and network speed to how you actually use your data.

One order, protected pricing

NAS, drives and upgrades are quoted together with protected pricing, so the total is clear from the start.

Ready for what comes next

We plan for expansion from day one, so adding capacity or faster networking later is a simple order, not a rebuild.

Do we need all-flash, or will hard drives do?

Not every workload needs all-flash, and we will tell you when yours does not. It earns its place where lots of people work on large files at once or systems need fast responses. For backup and archive, hard drives are often better value, and a QNAP setup can mix both.

Can one QNAP system handle live files and backups?

It can, though we usually recommend keeping your backup on a separate system or site. QNAP keeps two systems in sync, and one can take over automatically if the other goes offline.
