On Thursday 8th February, CRN hosted their first ‘Sustainability in Tech Summit and Awards’. The event was held at London’s BAFTA venue, and our Head of Alliances & Operations, Jenny Latimer, attended, representing Highgate, as well as hosting one of the discussion panels. 

The day consisted of over 120 IT leaders gathering to discuss the current sustainability challenges in the channel, covering everything from industry collaboration, the circular economy, decarbonisation and much more. Jenny described the Summit as ‘a thought-provoking day, packed with engaging speakers, panel discussions and even an environmental comedian. It was humbling to be in a room with so many like-minded individuals from across the industry, wanting to make a difference.’ 

Highgate were nominated for an award in the ‘Green Shoots’ category, which aimed to recognise companies who are in the early stages of their sustainability journey and have made great progress/implemented an impressive initiative.
