We’re asking UK IT leaders what they’re planning for 2027

There's plenty of opinion about 2027 IT budgets and not much UK data, so we're collecting some. Ten questions, three minutes, and the full results land with you in November.

Our 2027 IT Priorities survey is open. It's ten questions on what UK organisations are planning for next year, and it takes about three minutes.

The same conversations come round every autumn. Where the budget is going, what to do about security, whether the cloud bill is still the right shape, and what anyone is actually doing about AI rather than talking about. There is plenty of opinion. There is not much UK data at the SME and mid-market end, which is where most of these decisions get made.

So we are collecting some. The survey asks what your biggest IT priority is for 2027, how you expect your budget to move, and what is getting in the way.

Answer it and we will send you the full results in November, before we publish them, so you can see how your plans compare. We only publish results in aggregate, and we will not name you or your organisation.

Everyone who completes the survey goes into a draw for a MacBook Neo. If you would rather not take a prize, we will donate £700 to a UK registered charity of your choice instead.

The survey closes at 23:59 on Friday 13th November 2026.

Prize draw terms and conditions

1. The promoter is Highgate IT Solutions Ltd, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, company number 07260520.

2. The draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except employees of Highgate IT Solutions Ltd and their immediate families.

3. No purchase is necessary and there is no entry fee.

4. To enter, complete the 2027 IT Priorities survey. Giving an e-mail address is optional and is not a condition of entry, but it is the only way we can tell you that you have won, so if the entry drawn carries no e-mail address we will draw again.

5. One entry per person. Entries made by automated means will be disqualified.

6. The draw closes at 23:59 on Friday 13th November 2026. Entries received after that time will not be counted.

7. The prize is one MacBook Neo 13 inch with 256GB storage. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable. If that model becomes unavailable, the promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

8. The winner may instead ask the promoter to donate £700 to a UK registered charity of their choosing. This option exists so that entrants whose organisation’s policy prevents them accepting a gift from a supplier can still take part. The donation will be made directly to the charity.

9. The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on Wednesday 18th November 2026, by a member of Highgate staff not involved in running the survey.

10. The winner will be notified by e-mail within two working days of the draw and must respond within 14 days with delivery details, or with their chosen charity. If no response is received within 14 days, the promoter reserves the right to redraw.

11. The promoter will publish the winner’s first name and county in the 2027 UK IT Priorities report and on request, but only with the winner’s consent. Entrants who would rather not be named may still claim the prize.

12. Answers given in the survey have no bearing on the draw. The draw is random and no response is more or less likely to win because of what it contains.

13. Survey responses are handled as described in Highgate’s privacy policy and in the survey itself. Entering the draw does not change how your answers are used, and an e-mail address, where one is given, is used only to send you the report and to administer this draw.

14. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
